We may collect and process the following data about you:

Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.nrp.dev.assemblystudios.co.uk. This includes information provided by subscribing to any services we may offer, posting material, making enquiries, or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site. You may be invited to respond to a survey.

We may also wish to provide you with information about our services or products (such as newsletters, research updates, and invitations to our events) by email or other electronic communications or post we think may be of interest to you.

If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

Details of visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, and the resources that you access.

The IP address you are accessing the site from, operating system and browser type, for system and security administration. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

Cookies contain information specific to our website that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They are predominantly used to remember your preferences. Cookies and JavaScript settings can be disabled through adjusting the setting on your browser. This may limit access to certain areas of our website.

We may also collect information if you are a supplier or a customer which is necessary to enable us to interact with you.  This may include bank details, contact information, quotes, invoices, VAT information and any other normal business related information.

We do not collect sensitive personal data unless required by law.

All personal data we hold about you will be processed by our staff in the United Kingdom. Your data will only be shared with third parties, including other data controllers or processors, where it is necessary for the performance of our services, to comply with legal obligations, or where you have given your explicit consent.

Unless otherwise agreed with you, we will only collect basic personal data about you, such as your name, work address, email address, and job title. We will not collect special categories of personal data (“sensitive personal data”) without your explicit consent.

We use information held about you in the following ways:

  • To process invoices received from you, or to raise invoices to you and to make payments to you or collect monies due from you.
  • To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer
  • To allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so.

How we store and share your information

Your Information is stored in secure electronic systems on secure servers.  In the case of supplier or customer business information this is kept either electronically or in paper form in a secure environment.

When you subscribe to a service through our website, all information is held on a HubSpot mailing list. This list is used to contact you with relevant information, such as our quarterly E-newsletter, event invitations and major news and announcements.

Upon subscription you will receive an email link that will enable you to unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.

  • Website visitors

We collect personal information about visitors to our website, if they fill out a form on our website, participate in a survey or register for an event.

We use cookies on our website to establish statistics about the use of the Site by Internet users by gathering and analysing data such as: most visited pages, time spent by users on each page, site performance, etc. By collecting and using such data, we hope to improve the quality of the Site.

  • Email subscribers

When you subscribe to receive emails from us, we may ask for your:

  • name
  • email address

We will collect this information when you subscribe to our mailing lists. Our use and storage of your personal information for email communication is based on your consent. This means that you will only receive emails and information that you have asked to receive. You can withdraw your consent or change your email preferences at any time, by following the ‘unsubscribe’ link on any of our emails.

  • Event attendees

When you register to attend one of our events (including via our third-party providers including but not limited to Eventbrite, NetworkApp, Slido will ask for your:

  • name
  • email address
  • other relevant information as determined on an event-by-event basis, for example organisation, job title or work-related email address.

We will collect this information when you enrol to attend an event. Our use and storage of personal information is based on consent. We use personal information solely for the purposes of administering the event and subscribing you to our mailing list. You can withdraw your consent or change your email preferences at any time, by following the ‘unsubscribe’ link on any of our emails.

We may need to share personal information with third party organisations where it is necessary to administer the event (for example, with an external venue).

If you are a speaker at one of our events, we will promote your participation via platforms such as LinkedIn and by email. External platforms may continue to store and use personal information after the event has ended.

 

Annual Campus Survey

Each year we conduct a campus survey to better understand the composition of our community and their needs in the areas of travel to work, catering services, access to amenities, interest in community social activities and wider services offered on the site. We collect limited personal information to help us maintain the integrity of the survey and analyse results. Identifying your employer/institution and/or job role helps us understand the needs of different community groups and professional interests. Most questions are optional. Personal data are separated from question responses for analysis. Anonymised data and reports are shared with parties solely for the purpose of park management. Anonymised data is retained to allow for ongoing trend analysis after collection and personal data is deleted after 1 year.

Access to your personal information and raw survey data is limited to staff who have a legitimate interest in it for the purposes of carrying out their contractual duties. No data is shared with parties external to the park.

 

Security of your information

We are committed to keeping your personal or business information safe and secure. Your personal or business information is created, stored and transmitted securely in a variety of electronic and paper formats. Access to your personal or business information is limited to staff who have a legitimate interest in it for the purposes of carrying out their contractual duties.

Note that, although we will do our best to protect your personal and business data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

 

Accessing, correcting or deleting your information

We want to make sure your personal and business information is accurate and up to date. Upon subscribing to our mailing list, you will receive an email link to update your preferences or unsubscribe at any time. Retaining and disposing of your information

You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time through your unique link. Upon unsubscribing your information will be automatically removed from the mailing list.

The communications team will undertake an ongoing review of the mailing list to ensure that the information held is accurate, relevant and not outdated. Any data that does not meet these standards will be deleted from our mailing list.
